My Six Month Goals Have Nothing to Do With Triathlon

Okay that isn't TOTALLY true. I guess the first one does... sort of.

For those who keep asking me, the answer is YES I will be doing another one (Ironman) but NO it will not be this year.

The next six months are about LESS, LESS, LESS, MORE.

1.) Less money -- spend less and pay off all my debts from this whole Ironman thingy.

2.) Less stuff - get rid of 1/3 of everything I own (sell, donate, trash). I don't need all this stuff. It eats at me. And I spend more time putting things away all the time. If the stuff doesn't exist, I won't have to clean it.

3.) Less me -  lose 20 lbs. This doesn't have to do with self-image or clothes or any of that. This season is all about RUNNING and with a bunch of 10 milers and half-marathons and eventually a full marathon in the fall, I can't keep carrying around this extra weight. It's not even that I want to get faster, although that will be a great side effect, it's the stress on my joints and all the other nasty side effects the extra weight has. I lost 20 lbs last year, time to get rid of that final bit.

4.) MORE knowledge - I am going to take a class and/or conduct a self study in something new. I haven't really decided. It's sort of between Scrum project/product management and Neuroscience.

So there you have it. I wonder what stats Training Peaks keeps for these!
