I always feel such pressure to write perfect blog posts, where I come to some great conclusion so my readers don't waste their time.
That. Stops. Now.
It's time for me to spend some time just dumping some thoughts here about training. It was a rough week training. I was not motivated. I missed a bootcamp. I skipped a run. I skipped a bike ride. Bleck. Why? I was just tired. Tired. All around.
Tomorrow is my long run... longest run of my life. Sixteen miles. We are going to be running on the C&O Canal Tow Path -- which is packed dirt. Or in this case, packed snow. This is DC today:
And it is going to be 16 DEGREES when I start my run tomorrow.. and maybe 25 by the end if I am lucky.
I will write more about it. I am trying not to be scared. Instead I am eating pizza and and
vegan ice cream cones.
